Viral Protein Pizza

Protein Pizza with Chicken & Parm Crust

Serving size 2 (100g total protein for the whole pizza)

Ground Chicken Parmesan Crust

  • Ingredients

        •    1 lb ground chicken

        •    1 egg

        •    1/2 cup grated parmesan

        •    1 tsp garlic powder

        •    1 tsp onion powder

        •    1 tsp Italian seasoning (or oregano)

        •    1/2 tsp salt + pepper

  • Method

        1.    Preheat oven to 425°F.

        2.    Mix crust ingredients in a bowl until combined.

        3.    Line a sheet pan with parchment paper. Spray with oil.

        4.    Press mixture into a thin circle or rectangle- about 1/4 inch thick.

        5.    Bake 20–22 minutes.

        6.    Pull it out and blot the liquid

        7.    Flip crust carefully using a second parchment paper

        8.    Bake 8–12 minutes more until browned + firm.

    Sauce + toppings

        •    1/3 to 1/2 cup pizza sauce (depending how saucy you want it)

    • Spread a thin layer across the crust.

    • 1 cup mozzarella ( i used fresh and shredded my own for better melt). Sprinkle evenly

    • Topping ideas

      •  1/2 cup pineapple pat dry WELL

      • 1/4 cup diced red onion

      •  1/3 cup bell pepper (any color)

      • 10 turkey pepperoni (i used this)

      • Pontious Ranches Pan Grilled Sausage

        Final Bake

        Bake pizza at 425°F for 8–12 minutes, until:

            •    cheese is melted

            •    toppings are browned

            •    edges look crisp

Homemade Dipping ‘Ranch’

  • 1 cup plain nonfat Greek yogurt

    • Seasoning

      • 1 tsp dried dill

      • 1 tsp dried parsley

      • 1/2 tsp dried chives

      • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

      • 1/2 tsp onion powder

      • 1/4 tsp salt (more to taste)

      • 1/4 tsp black pepper

      • 1/2 tsp lemon juice

METHOD:

  • Stir everything together.

  • Let it sit 10–30 minutes so the herbs have time to marinate

  • Adjust salt + tang at the end. ENJOY!!
