Viral Big Mac Smashed Tacos (w low cal burger sauce)
BIG MAC SMASHED TACOS
My serving size: 3 street style tacos (450 cal, 48g protein, 48g carbs, 15g fat)
Makes 8 tacos
1 lb ground beef ( I use pasture raised Pontious Ranches one) 2 oz per taco
8 zero net carb tortillas (street style taco size)
4 slices of sharp cheddar squares (1/2 for each taco)
thinly chopped lettuce
pickles
salt
Method: Measure or divide the ground beef into 8 balls (2 oz per) and smash each one over an entire tortilla edge to edge. sprinkle a little bit of salt. Make the burger sauce (see below)
Next spray your pan with avocado oil and add tacos ground beef side down and try until charred. Flip and add 1/2 a square of cheddar cheese and keep it on heat until cheese is melted and tortilla is crispy.
Top tacos with burger sauce, lettuce and pickles and ENJOY IMMEDIATLY!
GREEK YOGURT BURGER SAUCE
2 tbsp ketchup
2 tbsp nonfat greek yogurt (plain)
2 tsp mustard
2 tsp pickle juice or apple cider vinegar
chopped pickles if you’d like
splash of water to thin
garlic powder + black pepper
Tiny pinch of sweetener of choice (i used monkfruit)
Combine in a bowl and set aside to drizzle the tacos with! this is the secret sauce to Bic MAC flavor but without any nasties or extra calories.
