Turkey meatballs with Tzatziki sauce

Ingredients:

  • Meatballs

    • 1 lb ground turkey

    • 1 egg

    • 1 zucchini grated, and strained

    • 3 cloves garlic

    • 1/4 bread crumbs

    • 1/4 red onion, grated

    • 2 tbsp mint, chopped

    • 1/4 cup parsley, chopped

    • pinch of oregano spice

    • drizzle olive oil, S&P

  • Tzatziki sauce

    • 2 cups plain Greek yogurt

    • 1 cup english cucumber, deseeded + diced very small

    • 1/3 cup lemon juice

    • 1/2 cup fresh dill, chopped

    • 2 cloves garlic, minced

    • 1 tsp salt

    • 1/4 tsp pepper

Step by step:

  1. Mix all meatball ingredients together in a bowl, roll into 2 inch balls and cook over low heat 4 min per side.

  2. While the meatballs are cooking, prepare the sauce. Add all the ingredients into a bowl, mix til well combined

  3. Once meatballs are done, serve and enjoy with a dollop of sauce on top! They are so juicy!
