matcha oatmeal tiramisu

Ingredients:

  • For the oatmeal

    • 1/3 cup oats

    • 1 cup almond milk

    • 1 tbsp matcha powder (sifted)

    • 2 tbsp chia seeds

    • 1 tbsp maple syrup

    • 2 tsp vanilla extract

  • For the yogurt

    • 1 scoop of greek yogurt

    • 1 tsp maple syrup

    • 1 tsp vanilla extract

    • 1 tbs sugar

    • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • For the toppings

    • strawberries

    • granola

Step by step:

  1. First add your oats to a mixing bowl then the almond milk, mix

  2. Once mixed, sift your matcha powder into the oatmeal

  3. Add the chia seeds, maple syrup, and vanilla, mix well

  4. Then get a small sauce pan and get ready to cook your oatmeal

  5. Pour your oatmeal into the sauce pan and turn heat to low

  6. Let simmer and stir frequently until the consistency you like is reached (I like mine more porridgy, so add more milk in, if preferred)

  7. Once cooked, set aside and let cool

  8. Moving on to the yogurt! In a bowl, add your yogurt, maple syrup, vanilla extract, sugar, and cinnamon, mix

  9. Then you are going to cut up the strawberries in slices and save some to dice for the topping

  10. Now, you’re ready to start assembling!

  11. In a mason jar, you will fill it with oatmeal first, then yogurt, then strawberries, and repeat til the jar is full!

  12. Once full top it off with granola and dices strawberries! Enjoy!
