Cozy Mille-Feuille Nabe
Ingredients:
- 1 Napa Cabbage 
- 1 /2 lb sliced pork belly 
- 1 knob ginger 
- 5 cups dashi stock 
- 2 tbsp sake 
- 1 tbsp soy sauce 
- 1/2 tsp salt 
- 1 green onion/scallion 
Step by step:
- Make 5 cups of dashi stock by boiling water with kombu and adding bonito flakes to steep 
- Slice Napa cabbage long ways into 4 pieces 
- Add in sliced pork belly between each napa leaf layer 
- Cut the bottom stem and then slice into thirds 
- Layer it into a big pot and pack it tight 
- Add soy sauce, sake, ginger, and salt to the dashi stock then pour over the cabbage and pork belly 
- Bring to a boil and lower to low heat and cook until pork and cabbage is soft (about 8-10 min) 
- Serve into a bowl and drizzle ponzu sauce and green onion. Enjoy
