Postpartum peanut soup
This is an easy traditional Chinese postpartum recipe used to increase milk supply!
I was skeptical at first but my let down DOUBLES on days my postpartum nanny makes it for me and its DELICIOUS!!!🤤 Y’all asked for the recipe so here it is!!

Ingredients:
- 1.5 cups blanched peanuts 
- 1 cup pearl barely 
- 1/2 cup coconut sugar 
- 16 cups water 
Step by step:
- Rinse peanuts 5-6 times with water until it runs clear. Repeat with pearl barely. 
- In a large 7 qt pot, add cleaned peanut and barley and 16 cups fresh filtered water or until it’s 3/4 of the way full. Set heat to high and once boiling remove any scum. 
- Lower heat to low and simmer for 1.5 hours or until peanuts are soft. 
- During this time continue to water as needed to stay 3/4 full in the pot. Add sugar at the end and it’s ready to serve hot or cold!! Enjoy!
