Beef Gyudon

Ingredients:

Beef and Vegetables:

  • Thinly sliced beef

  • 3 long green onion, sliced diagonally (white part only)

  • 1 pack Shirataki Noodles

  • 3 inch carrot, thinly sliced

  • 1/4 napa cabbage, chopped

  • Hand full of shimeji, shiitake and enoki

Broth:

  • 150 ml Dashi Stock

  • 2 tbsp Soy Sauce

  • 2 tbsp Sugar

  • 1 tbsp Sake

  • 1 tbsp Mirin

  • 1 tbsp ginger Root, thinly sliced

Step by step:
1. Slice all veggies and ginger root

2. In a. Medium sized pan, combine all broth ingredients and stir until lightly simmering. 

3. Add all your veggies and cover until carrot softens

4. Add the beef slices on top and cover until all redness in meat is gone 

5. Serve in your favorite bowl on a warm bed of steamed rice! Pour soup over the top with beef, garnish with pickled ginger and green onion and enjoy!
