TOKYO TRAVEL GUIDE

For those of you who are planning a trip to Tokyo soon, here is a list of all the places featured in the blog from hotels, to shopping areas, and of course FOOD!

Hotels

I stayed at the Gate Hotel in Ginza, the location was super convenient and smack dab in the heart of Ginza. The train station was literally part of the hotel so it made traveling so convenient. To get around anywhere in Tokyo took about 20 minutes so it was really nice and easy. The room was extremely clean and spacious and their gym was UH-mazing! The room was also really affordable amongst other things I loved about this hotel. 10/10 would come back again. | Check Here: https://bit.ly/2mFOeQq

Shopping

Comme De Garcons, Omotesando | https://bit.ly/2mKmrOY | a avant garde Japanese designer that is known for anything but ordinary.

MOMA SHOP | https://mo.ma/2LCRQe4 | This store is technically kind of an art store, but is filled with a bunch of random and cool things! Worth the visit, pet the cat cushion for me if you go!

RMK Make Up, Ginza | https://bit.ly/2ngXhrl | one of my favorite make up brands

Food

Shin Udon, Shinjuku | https://bit.ly/2mKThPq | Best Udon in the world, you won’t be disappointed!

Katsuo Shokudo, Tokyo | https://bit.ly/2lJeIjK | Very good for those who are into Bonito or want to try different kinds!

Toraya Cafe, Omotesando | https://bit.ly/2nbR6EN | I LOVE their interior first and foremost, and their matcha is incredible! We got the Matcha Latte (ofc) and the Matcha Shaved Ice. If you get the chance you must check it out!

Sushi Shin, Hiroo | https://bit.ly/2mDmNGV | The space is very small and intimate and the fish was beyond the freshest I’ve had. No wonder it is Michelin Star rated! Be sure to make reservations in advance as well!

Higayashi, Ginza | https://bit.ly/2mEtOYa | This is a tea house that prepares tea in front of you along with a beautiful lunch set. Watching the process is so magical because you can tell they put a lot of heart into their technique and practice. It’s a really nice way to spend a quiet afternoon.

Ginza 6 | https://bit.ly/2mFIyG4 | Ginza 6 is a luxury shopping complex where there is a big art installation in the middle of the floors. There are so many things to see and visit in this area if you are looking to explore!

Thanks for watching! Make sure you check in for Tokyo Vlog #2 to see more of my adventures in the countryside of Ibaraki with the Ishizuka family! Until next time.
