Miso Pork Rice Bowl

Ingredients:

Step by step:

  1. Grate ginger and chop half of the green onion into small pieces

  2. In a small bowl, combine mirin, sake, and soy sauce, mix

  3. Then add water and potato/corn starch, and mix til it’s fully combined

  4. Heat a saucepan over medium heat, when it is hot add sesame oil and chopped green onion

  5. Once you can smell the green onion, add the ground pork and break it up

  6. Add the grated ginger and cook the meat til it is no longer pink

  7. Then add the miso and sugar and mix well

  8. Once combined, pour in your sauce and cook on medium-low heat

  9. When the liquid is reduced to your liking, turn off the heat and serve over a bed of rice with a side of your favorite greens and a onsen egg! Enjoy!
