Night Time Elixir

Winding down after a long day of work isn't always the easiest for me. It's 9 pm and my brain still wants to work, I'm thinking about all the things I need to get done the next day, I'm planning my workout clothes for the morning, and pacing around hoping I didn't forget to do anything important and it's all still chaotic in my brain.

Because I do lotssss of work infront of a computer screen and my phone all day long I found that winding down is EXTRA HARD for me.


To combat this I’ve been setting a bedtime alarm for 9pm to start the process. I tidy up my place, do my evening skin care routine and drink my relaxing night time elixir right before bed.

The elixir really helps calms my anxiety and makes me feel sleepy 10 minutes after drinking it. It's been a lifesaver to help me get the full 8 hours I need! It's also super tasty and easy to make so I never feel like it's a hassle/chore. 



Night time elixir recipe:

  • 8 oz cold water
  • 1 scoop Vital Proteins Lavender Lemon Collagen
  • 1 serving magnesium supplement (powder form) I use the one from @cleanprogram 
  • Stir & enjoy! So easy right?! 


All the ingredients in this mix have been shown to induce relaxation and sleep!

  • Magnesium helps lower cortisol and relax muscles. I feel the effects almost immediately and it's also helped me stressful situations during the day too. (I'll just use half a scoop vs full)
