Resolutions in my option are a powerful way to manifest what you want in your life and there's no better time than New Years to do that because HELLO FRESH START!!! It's one thing to think about resolutions but I empower you to write. them. down!!

Here are mine :)

1. Think long term

I want to make a biiiiig effort to think long term this year. I get easily caught up with every day tasks and lose focus of the bigger picture. I plan to write out my business plan and personal goals over the next 5, 10 years so I have a clearer focus on life in general.

2. Start a retirement fund savings + invest $

I also want to manage my finances better for the long run. Opening up a retirement fund has been on my to-do list all of 2017 but it never happened. womp womp.  So I'm committing to having a couple conversations with financial advisors ( I already made an appointment) and get that retirement fund started, slow and steady. I also want to learn about ways I can invest this year!

3. Go on a trip with a friend!

I'm thinking Egypt to see the pyramids, China because I've never been, Italy because I've heard it's amazing, Australia ( been wanting to go for yearsss), and beautiful Morocco!

4. Keep my car clean

There's something about a clean car that makes me feel so happy! This might be another good one to set a reminder on my phone for once monthly.

5. Wear cute PJ's to bed ; )

It's time to throw away (I admit) all my ex boyfriends old t-shirts from yearsss ago and start wearing CUTE Pjs to bed. I just think if I go to bed feeling cute I'll wake up feeling cute and sometimes you gotta make these changes for a lil extra self love ; )

6. Work on glutes.

Booty booty booty booty. Either I'm lifting heavy and not hitting my calorie intake OR I'm hitting my calories but not lifting consistently. In 2018 I'm committing to a BEFORE & AFTER picture. I want to see the progress and I want to be proud of what I accomplished. I've done it before so I know I can do it again!

7. Donate to goodwill every 3 months.

8. Slow down!

Ahh staying present and slowing down. Isn't this everyone's goal these days? I'm currently reading "You are Here by Thich Nhat Hanh" and there's a mantra in there that really stuck to me.  I've been saying it in my head as I breathe, whenever I feel anxiety levels rise and I'm moving too fast from one thing to the next:

I have arrived, I am home (breathe)

In the here an in the now.  (breathe)

I am solid, I am free,  (breathe)

In the ultimate I dwell.  (breathe)

I instantly feel relaxed and calm.

9. Get rid of garage clutter.

One might ask, why is your home so clutter free when you receive so many packages? Well...If you guys could see my garage... It's absolutely chaos and desperately needs organization. It's one my goals this year to clear it up and let go of everything that doesn't make me happy.

10. Get over my fear of public speaking.

Nothing to it but to do it. One of my mantras this year is " DO IT NOW" without hesitation, just do it! This goes for public speaking, getting out the door to workout, starting on a project I've been procrastinating on, doing something nice for a friend, etc.

11. Workout first thing in the morning!

It makes me feel so accomplished and I miss that feeling and energy! I want to challenge myself to wake up and workout in the morning as much as possible this year. going to make a habit tracker for this in my bullet journal:)

12. Take more walks and runs outside.

I'm so blessed with LA weather so I want to take more advantage of it!  I want to go outside and breath in fresh air while I walk or jog! I'm thinking podcast + long walk combos, doesn't that sound lovely?

13. Find peace in being alone.

*Sigh* This is a big one for me. As much as I consider myself very independent when it comes to my career, in my slower moments, I always want to be around someone. I love human connection but I think there is real value in being able to be alone. Changing my mindset around alone time is the key to this I think.

14. Stress less.

15. Journal for 15 min every night.

I have a pretty terrible memory and that's something I want to work on. When I studied abroad in Tokyo my junior year of college I wrote down everything I did each day on a little notebook. It filled up quick and by the end of my 6 month trip I had 8 notebooks filled. I'm soooo excited to read through my adventures and thoughts, one day. Thats what I want to start doing 2018 too.

16. Keep my work folders organized on my desktop.

For obvious reasons!  It’s the same mentality I have for when I am in work mode. I clean up my entire desk area, take out all distractions and then get to work. I want to keep my desktop clean, mind free, so I can jump into focus mode faster.

17. Attract organic opportunities with brands.

I had the opportunity to work with so many brands I LOVE this past year and through the process I was able to flex my creative muscles and had so much fun.  I want to manifest more of those partnerships that make me jump up and down : )

18. Let go

I'm not going to be afraid of cutting off relationships that aren't serving me in 2018. I want to surround myself with like minded people that lift each other up and support each other. I want to save my energy for people I can be myself around!
