Simple Summer Smoothie
Temperatures are going up up upppp. Feeling hot usually makes us crave sweet, refreshing beverages but the sugar in soda, popsicles and even lemonade can add up quickly! Today I'm giving you guys a SUPER SIMPLE recipe for a protein packed AND refreshing smoothie.
I like this recipe because it's only four ingredients! I went back to the basics because smoothies don't HAVE to have 14 superfoods, powders and supplements. Smoothies can be a really good way to get some greens in but if you're planning on having a big leafy salad at lunch then maybe we can skip the spinach..just for today.
This smoothie would be great for an afternoon snack at the pool you can feel good about!
2 cups frozen peaches
1 cup frozen raspberries
1 cup 0% plain greek yogurt
4-5 ice cubes
