My Go-To Summer Detox Tea

Iced Lemon Ginger Turmeric Iced Tea is my fav in the summer. I've been making it in batches to sip on in the afternoon when it get's really hot. It's REALLY delicious chilled!

I originally shared the hot version of this recipe on my "Day in the Life" blog post, but I tweaked it just a little for the Iced version.

Benefits of this Detox Tea:

- Juice of 1 Lemon
- 1 Inch Ginger (peeled and cut into small pieces)
- 1/8 Tsp Powdered or Fresh Turmeric
- 2.5 Cups of Water
- 1 Tsp Honey (optional)
- Mint leaves


Bring ginger + water to a boil, then add the lemon + turmeric and let it simmer for 5 minutes. Next stir in the honey and pour into a large mason jar and store in fridge until cold. When ready to serve, add lots of ice + mint leaves. ENJOY!! x
