Healing Breakfast Smoothie
My favorite way to smoothie (yes I used it as a verb :P) is by adding lots of fruit, antioxidants, and superfoods while doing a little dance in the kitchen. Plus this is a quick and easy way to get a nutrition boost for an on-the-go breakfast that tastes so yummy, one cup won't be enough!
1 Frozen Banana
1/4 Cup Organic Rolled Oats
2 Tbsp Hemp Seeds
1 Tsp Maca powder
1/4 Cup Blueberry
1 Cup Almond Milk
1 Cup Ice
Dash of Cinnamon
Pinch of Salt
METHOD: Blend all ingredients until smooth and drink up : )
Blueberries: contains potent antioxidants high in vitamin A & C (immune booster)
Hemp Seeds: perfect to add to post-workout smoothies for the best source of plant protein. It contains al essential fatty acids (omega 3, omega 6 and GLA)
Maca Powder: goes well in smoothies with almond milk and is known to balance hormone levels, reduce stress and increase your energy! It's loaded with amino acids, vitamins, minerals, protein and fiber.
Organic Rolled Oats: The best kind of carbohydrate with high protein levels and fiber to help support healthy digestion.
Cinnamon: has a antimicrobial effect that is known to eliminate bad breath and great for colon health. Also the flavor goes well with pretty much everything imo.
